Just a reminder…

Art is due tomorrow by 2PM for Aesthetic / Foam.  Have YOU started yours today?  Why not start one at lunch?  You could melt down some crayons and paint on some old cloths… you could simply just draw a picture of anything that comes to mind.  The nice thing about us here at the R-WAC is we accept everything, whether it completely illustrates the words or not… it’s more about creativity and just making art.  So don’t get hung up too much on the words, those are merely your guidelines.

Reminder: art challuunge is due tomorrow…

Hey folks, just wanted to remind you that art challuunge is due tomorrow by 2pm.  Have you gathered any thoughts on your submission?  The words are DOLPHIN / COFFEE.  So head on out there this fine summer day and start brainstorming, if you haven’t already. 

Just a reminder, or maybe we never let you know in the first place, but Dayan has until tomorrow to give us two new random words for next week’s art challuunge.  Oh yeah, Dayan, you were the winner of last weeks challuunge, that’s why you owe us next week’s words.

On that note, here are a few things to help inspire you with this week’s challuunge: Cassowary / Mechanic

Cassowary: World’s most dangerous bird

According to the Guinness Book of Records, the Cassowaries are the world’s most dangerous birds, capable of dealing fatal blows. They are very unpredictable, aggressive creatures, especially if wounded or cornered. The Cassowary lives in the rain forests of Australia and New Guinea and are actually pretty shy animals if undisturbed, but if you get to close and it thinks you’re a threat you could receive a bone-breaking kick or get sliced by its dagger-like sharp claws. During WWII, soldiers stationed in New Guinea were warned to stay away from these birds, but some of them still became victims.  The Cassowary is also one of the most difficult animals to keep in the Zoo because of the frequent injuries suffered by Zoo keepers that look after them.

Hey, it’s Thursday… have a submission yet?
